Richard Margolin is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of RoboKind, and over the past 14 years has developed some of the world’s most recognizable facially expressive and socially interactive robots. An accomplished researcher, engineer, public speaker, and executive, Richard’s mission is to make a positive impact by working to make technology and education exciting, accessible, and equitable for everyone. 
Richard has received numerous awards and accolades for his impactful work and leadership at RoboKind. He is EdTech Digest’s Visionary Leader in Education for 2021, an EY Entrepreneur of the Year winner in the Social Impact category, a Forbes Technology Council member, a 2017 Tech Titan inventor of the year, a 2018 Red Herring Top 100 North American and Global winner for the year’s most promising private technology ventures. In 2018, The American Society of Mechanical Engineers awarded Richard and RoboKind the Emerging Technology Award in Robotics;  He was also named to the Business Journal 40 Under 40 list, and the D CEO 500 Most Powerful Business Leaders in Dallas-Fort Worth for 2020 and 2021.
Richard was also featured in Men’s Health for his Origami Hobby. Which began as physical therapy after a sports injury caused nerve damage to his hand.
